Care and FAQ

What is permanent (welded) jewelry?
A chain fitted to you with no clasp. We size it while you wear it, then close the last link with a small, quick weld. It stays on until you decide otherwise.
Does the weld hurt?
No. The flash lasts a fraction of a second and touches only the small jump ring, not your skin.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes a piece, including choosing your chain.
Which metals do you use?
14k gold filled, 18k solid gold and sterling silver 925. All are made to be worn every day.
Can I shower, swim and sleep in it?
Yes. Gold filled and solid gold keep their colour with water. Silver can darken over time; a polishing cloth brings it back.
How do I take it off?
Cut the small jump ring with scissors or nail clippers. Keep the chain. Bring it to any pop-up and we weld it on again.
What about an MRI, surgery or airport security?
Airport scanners are fine. A hospital may ask you to remove metal for an MRI or surgery. Cut it off and bring it back afterwards.
Can I pay ahead online?
Yes. Shop online, pick your time at checkout and pay by card. You can also book a seat for free and pay at the table.
How do gift cards work?
Choose an amount, add a note and we email the card on the day you pick. The person uses the code online or at any pop-up.
